Does NJ have lines because they allow non members to buy?

The price difference at Costco is more like 20 cents/gallon in CLE but I've never seen a line.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

NJ allows non-residents to buy gas: like those pesky New Yorkers

Doesn't NY also allow that?

a lot of people dont value their time. Like I saw someone in a grocery arguing with the manager that a piece of meat was spoiled and they want their money back. must have taken at least a half hour to come down and take care of the whole thing. (person wasnt shopping, just came for this it seemed). i mean is a half hour (maybe more) of your time worth 10 bucks?

It's not the money, it's the principle of the thing. (Not that I would do that, but...)

I'd name it CGS (cheaper gas syndrome ). Most people suffer from it. They're obsessed with paying a few cents cheaper for gas
Do those same people hand deliver USPS letters locally to save the stamp? Probably way more savings realized than Costco has if mailing multiple letters like a simcha etc.

It's cheaper to send with USPS when you have a ton of stamps you got for 34¢ from boxed.com
I'm not who you think I am.

Someone pointed this out a few days ago, and it is pretty puzzling to see lines of cars six deep waiting for gas by Costco. The price is maybe 8 cents per gallon cheaper than neighboring gas stations with no lines. How in the world does it pay to wait that long to save under 2 bucks a fill up. Arent most of the Costco customers upper middle classs? Presumably they would value their time at way more than that- not to mention that there is gas wasted idling etc.. Or is there a different lower class clientele that is mostly utilizing the gas station?
In ny it's around 40 cents cheaper per gallon

If that's the case I'm driving over to NY to fill up. A bargain is a bargain... All kidding aside is it 40 cheaper than that price gouging gas station on the belt or than your cheapest NY gas station? If you compare Costco in Lakewood to the high priced exon on Rt 9 it's probably also a 40-50 cent differerence...
