Not sure why many people refer to bingo as kosher Costco. Bingo is not a wholesale club. It seems just like a large supermarket with some big ticket sale items.

Also why on earth do they place the main sale items right in the beginning of the store? Causes such congestion

IINM credit cards have it coded as a wholesale club, and after all, that's really what counts in these circles.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

The owner considers it as a wholesale club.

I heard that after pesach he's getting in bikes, so someone asked him why bikes in a grocery, so he said Bingo isn't a supermarket...

In Israel it's more a wholesale club than anywhere else they have. Large stores, larger packages, fewer choices and good prices.  It's somewhere between a regular supermarket and a wholesale club in my opinion.

While I don't think any of the poskim/mefarshim mention malchus in relation to the kittel, there are different minhagim/psakim pertaining to shana rishona and aveilus that reveal 2 potential reasons for wearing a kittel at the seder: to remember yom hamisa and temper the simcha of the seder, or to be like malachei hashares and add simcha. According to the first reason, it makes no sense to have a fancy kittel, while according to the second reason it depends.

See Igros Moshe:

Matteh efraim says since it's a yom tov beged it should be nice, can't remember exactly where. Probably hilchos Yom kippur

Because he holds like the second tzad.

ETA: Scratch that. He says explicitly that an aveil can wear a kittel on yom kippur. He adds that there's a minhag to make a silver or gold atara on a chosson's kittel because it will be worn on yom kippur and pesach - but he doesn't really explain how those 2 things fit together.

Not sure that it's taluy. I think it's because, regardless, it's worn on Yom tov

He doesn't say that very clearly. Besides, what's the lomdus? Why does worn on yom tov mean you should put a silver atara on it?

... an aveil can wear a kittel on yom kippur.

Why wouldn't he wear it? There is no Aveoulos on Shabbos, and YomTov ends Aveoulos.
