I don't see that flavor on the recommended lists. And they all say that they need to have hashgoco, so I'd contact the store.

Just beware the no gimmicks no shtick is a warning to watch out for them, their challa bags are labeled as 2 challa's and they'll charge you for 2 becuase it scans in as 2 challa's, if you buy one leave the bag behind.

Unlike any other supermarket on the planet, you need to buy both in Bingo. In the above scenario 1 would ring up at full price, and you only get the special in multiples of 2.

This way actually makes more sense. If the sale price is applicable to 1 item, just list it as x each. If it's only applicable to multiples, list it that way. The way all the supermarkets do it here is actually backward. Now you can argue about whether they should have sales that require volume, but they certainly wouldn't be the only industry to do it.

Context is not that difficult.

As far as I can tell, people are complaining about Bingo listing sale pricing for say 2 yogurts, and only applying it when you buy 2, not 1 (or when you buy 3, applying sale to 2, and regular to one). This is because pretty much every other grocery/supermarket will apply the sale price to even 1 item. I'm saying that the Bingo way stays in line with the actual wording of the sale, while the grocery/supermarket way doesn't. Is it better for the consumer for the sale to apply the same way no matter how you buy? Sure. But then just market/describe it appropriately.

Though one might expect that it is reasonable not to charge sale price if you only buy one of the two, but if you buy more than two, one would expect to get sale price, and not have to get an even number of items. If those are the terms they should clearly state that sale price applies only to even number of items. Otherwise one could also argue that any amount over two doesn't qualify, as the ad/sign only says that sale price applies to 2.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I would expect that once you buy more then the minimum you get the discount, Not odd=Reg/even=Sale

I disagree. Obviously it depends on the actual wording, but think of electronics for example. If there's a discount for buying 2, often it's done in such a way that the discount only gets deducted for each pair. Why should this be any different? You can of course set something up where the sale price per item applies to any quantity above a minimum number, but I don't see that being described in grocery sales generally.

Right, but that's only when they want the deal to only apply to 2 or more, or whatever. Generally they write things like 5 for $1, even if what it really means is $.20 each. Why not just write that?

Its up to the grocery to operate however they want, you should just be aware that bingo no gimmicks means check the wording, check the label, check the date, check the receipt, pack the bags yourself, guess what you save 5 dollars after all!!

Especially on the watching the cashier and checking the receipt. On a recent trip to Bingo I got charged $23.99 (+tax) for an item I didn't buy. I've had in the past where a cashier entered the wrong code for some produce I took, that resulted in being charged for a more expensive item.

People that are lazy to do the "Bingo Experience" instead of plane old shopping just try to justify themselves that they will only save a few dollars.....

Shopping at Bingo can save you a lot - but it comes with its disadvantages.....
