wine bottle cracked, will chase cover it ?

Hi! I purchased yesterday a couple of bottles of wine in duty free, a bottle cracked upon arrival.

I purchased these thru my CSR, will chase cover this incident?

Call the number on the back of your card, they'll either help you or transfer to claims department. Purchase Protection.

When you make a purchase with your card, the item is covered against damage or theft for 120 days — up to $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per year.

Just spoke to the Benefits department, they said unfortunately this isn't covered under purchase protection, since it is consumables. 😩
