Need your LG Exalt fixed? Cracked in half? Water damage? Or parts to repair yourself. 347.201.2501
I don't know if it helps but I saw there's an advertisement for sink immersion which they will help you kasher for free..
just don't do that with an under counter sink
Why not?
the sink will sometimes collapse and boiling water will splash all over the place. This is not uncommon
How else do you kasher your sink? Aside for your pesach kitchen sink? (don't you want to use your other 3 sinks for pesach as well.)
Isn't this a standard sink which is under the counter top?
pouring hot water.
I personally use a big hot pot of water and immerse it and clean the walls of it.
What do you mean by immerse it?
I mean fill the sink with hot water/ meaning I wash the sides and surface with the boiled hot water, (used to fill the whole sink with hot water with the drain plugged and then in the morning remove the plug.) but realized there was no need for that, as I just kashered with the hot water on all the surfaces, it seems for those who don't want to be busy with pots and carrying hot water they come with a machine after the sink is filled with water and then stick this machine immersed in water which heats up the water to a boiling temp to kasher.
To do that with an under counter sink like the one in the picture above is very dangerous. There are numerous cases where the brackets holding the sink were not strong enough for the weight and all of that boiling water started spilling all over the place. People have gotten some very serious burns from that besides the damage it did to the kitchen. I would STRONGLY recommend against that.
Someone gave me the idea to put blocks of wood under the sink to hold it, any reason that shouldn't work?
