According to this source it is a NY bound aircraft which is now dumping fuel to prepare for emergency landing.

Almost positive ELY27 is from TLV to EWR...Must of returned. Hopefully will dump fuel and have runway prepared for emergency landing.

Pretty much what it sounds like...it has happened a few times, most notably with JBU landing in LAX in 2005.

Depending on the actual gear the pilot will bring down that plane waiting till that last minute for that part to touchdown.

At about 1:10 starts the JBU landing.

This one is more complicated because it sounds like a rear left gear.
Elal have spoken to Boeing as far as the best way to bring down this 772

On the JetBlue flight, the wheel was struck at a 90 degree angle.
Thats a technical fault?

Yes. "technical fault" is a general term, not specifically related to aviation. Any sort of failure of equipment can be a "technical fault"
