People have had success in the past with Amex honoring similar scenarios where amex mislabeled econ fares as premium. With VS/DL it's a much harder sell.

I'd actually be really curious to know if Amex would honor it. It seems like if they sold you a First Class ticket (in this case) and you got booked into Economy, it's on them to sell the right thing, no?  Regardless, if you book a First Class ticket, and they book you in economy, don't you have a right to get your premium seat?
