Can anyone recommend a couple of laptops to consider in the $600-$750 range, should be pretty light, around 15 inches?

This one is a good deal if 13" isn't too small for you. If you're looking for light 15" is not the size you're looking for...

How does Lenovo stack up against Dell? Also, I would like something that has a dedicated graphics card. Thanks for the reply

Lenovo is equal to or better than Dell (depends on model really, but a good brand overall IMHO). No GPU upgrade available here, lets see what else there is... HTH.

Edit: Here's a decently priced Lenovo 14" with 1gb GPU for $649. For $30 more they have other models (after 20% off coupon USPLENOVO526).

I was recently checking out Gateway laptops and netbooks, they usually have pretty good prices, but i don't think they perform that well. It is a secondary branch of HP.
