Check out Rebtel.com.  1 cent for landline, 6 cents for cell to Israel.  You can also get free calls (even cell phones) to Israel if you get the person in Israel to call you back using the Israeli Rebtel access number.

Is Asimon really 1.2 cents to Israel and only 3.5 cents to a cell?

It seems too good to be true, with no connection/monthly fees etc. They do do 1-minute rounding but it still looks extremely cheap (when calling Israeli cellulars).

if you have a smart phone (i.e BlackBerry) you could download the google voice app. Add some money online and yo could dial directly from you phone without any access numbers. Its not the cheapest, like 2 cents to landlines and .10 to cell phones. But I find it terribly convenient.

Use the KK 50% off code, and it will be just 0.6 cents to Israel, and 1.75 cents to a cell.

;D
That's where I was headed of course. I just want to know if the original price of 3.5 to an Israeli cell is legit.

For frequently called numbers, try localphone.com good for convenience (not price) – I use it from my cell, and phones that I do want use for international calls.

I've been using them for about a month and the amount of minutes they give seems to be correct but haven't checked it that carefully, it is certainly many more minutes than what I'd been using for 10-11 cents.

Is there a discsount code for asimon?

you could use IDT's boss revolution from your cell, home line or 8 other additional numbers all on the same account. no pin codes , very easy to use.

If youve never used it before send me a message with your cell number and i'll give you an account with a free $1
