I had the same problem last night.

Did you try editing your completed (one-time) Divvy? You might be able to change the amount and it'll work...  I tried just now and it worked for me.

FYI- they are starting 3.5% fee on CC and a % fee on debit card transactions starting next week.

+1, what day next week?

I hope I can get in my $2,500 spend on my BA card beforehand, it's supposed to be in the mail...

I put through a rental payment today, they are charging it on the 6th is it safe to assume even if they start charging % that its not for charges ordered already?

I wouldn't assume anything, why not pay it early? Unless they charged your card already, in which case I don't think they'll go ahead and help themselves to another 3.5%.

Realized now I'm not sure I did it correctly . When I went to pay it seemed like the first day to schedule was for the 11th of June which I did . They told me they will be processing it on the 6th of June. Was I able to  process it quicker , like getting the charge today. And if yes could I cancel the previous transaction?

Where did you get this info from?  It doesn't say it anywhere on their website.

If you chose the earliest possible day then you did it right. I'd guess they'll charge your card earlier than they said, that's how it was IME.

So your saying that it makes sense that they didn't let me schedule it before the 11th , it wasn't a mistake on my part. I guess I need to be on top of this 3.5% thing and cancel if it goes into effect first.

They make you schedule it for the date by which you expect the payment will arrive at the recipient, so they don't allow you to choose dates in the near future, allowing enough time for them to get the funds, mail the payment and for it to travel and arrive at the recipient.

Makes sense. I will tell my "landlord" that the 11th is the earliest he's getting the $$.

I think they plan for it to arrive sooner, see bahayman's experience in this thread.

Just inform your landlord it's in the mail and it'll arrive when it does.
