First time trading in a car. How?
« on: July 18, 2011, 09:35:09 AM »
Looking to trade-in my current ride for something a bit bigger. Where do I begin? Should I specifically go to dealers from the make of my car (in this case Toyota), or does that make no difference and I should shop around in various other dealerships? Thanks!

I dont think it makes a difference, but the main thing is negotiate a good price first, and then bring up the trade-in.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I know people who like to use Carmax because they give you cash upfront and will give you a quote right when you bring the car to them.
