when i flew from MEX to JFK - they were checking all bags right by boarding gate. so i put my small suitcase on table, and starting talking to the guy and kinda distracting him, and he didnt realize the briefcase on my shoulders which had liquids.

i always manage to come on the plane with water at least 2-3 bottles whenever i fly... i guess its one of the benefits of having a baby.. They just scan the bottles SOMETIMES...

LHR seems particular hard on babies. They only allow it in the baby bottle, and last time they made me drink some formula. Ech

i guess ive just been lucky
flew alitalia and delta the past few times i went.. they were ok!!

a side point....is a lighter considered a dangerous article that you are not allowed to bring on top of plane?

a TSA agent once told me to just leave it in your pocket....
and i have done that and also put it through the machine...

same here, i never had a problem in USA or israel or for that matter anywhere, but when i flew out of china they confiscated 2 lighters from me!! they said its illegal. and it happened also when i flew domestically in china - that time i was coming back the next day so they held it for me.
