Not sure why you'd want one, but hertz has a hybrid category, and I'd bet other companies do as well.

I wanted to know if you can pick a hybrid search option on third party sites like kayak?

also I always though SUV are gas guzzlers but for example Budget had a Intermediate SUV as getting 36 m/per gallon better than the smaller cars? which car rental site will give me easy access to miles/gallon

How far are you driving already? Also the cost of a hybrid will most like outweigh the gas savings. They are taking advantage of the green people.

how can i check how many miles per gallon the rental car gets? is it normally by grouping, ie compact/economy/medium/full etcc
also I don't think anybody guarantees a make and model only something within that group so how can you really secure a fuel efficient rental car?

How would you do that if it's not a plugin? I.e. do they expect you to drive around on the highway for a while to charge it?? I assume not.

Enterprise has a "Electric Sports Car" category which they put the Tesla Model S into. We took it during our December trip to Disney in Orlando. Swapped it out 2 days later for a Stingray because I realized that only Epcot had charging stations for the Tesla, and I didn't have any free time in my itinerary to spend charging the Tesla.
