All of them cure anxiety for the people playing with them and create anxiety and animosity for everyone around them. Seeing people (adults, not children) bring these to shul on shabbos is just astounding.

Maybe buy them in bulk with the shul's name/logo printed on them. You can give one to each member.

I got them for my kids, yet I don't think I caved. I had them earn it. It is a good price, though I'm not sure of the quality.

They go up really high. Some come with lights, some with wings, others with 5 prongs/blades (whatever they're called), I've heard that they even sell gold plated spinners.

There are plenty who sell them on eBay for $.99-$20 of course the .99 is for an empty box

Trying out before buying won't help for breaking quickly. I bought 5, (tried them all before paying) within an hour 2 were gone, within 24 hrs all 5 were broken. No where in the store did it say that I have to buy a tube of krazy glue with it. Luckily my wife was able to restore at least 3 of them.
