Transfer Points?

Hey All,

I'm trying to book 2 tix LAX-Tel aviv in July on American and it looks like the only way that's gonna happen is if I book 2 award flights each for a total of 4 award flights with 2 of them on American Anytime miles. Basically each ticket is gonna cost 130k miles! I'm a little short on this and wondering what alternatives I have to just buying the AA miles from them at a steep price....

Can I transfer BA miles to AA somehow? AMEX? Any way to avoid paying a couple hundred bucks for the AA miles?

Basically, I'm looking for a way to get an additional 25k AA miles into my account without having to buy them from AA. Is there anywhere I can transfer them from?

20k SPG will become 25k AA.

What are the two separate segments that you're booking?

Well Im trying to fly the second week of July and have LAX-Dallas-Frankfurt the first segment and then Frankfurt-Tel Aviv the second. I have tried calling so many times the past 2 weeks and there has been nothing without booking it as 2 award flights with the AA leg as Anytime miles....

I called AA and asked them to search their partners for award flights. Is there another way of doing this? I didn't see a master thread about oneworld....
