Well yes, they are partnered as far as lounge access, but if your preferred airline is delta, it may have set by default to show your preferred airline first.
But they partner with AA as well for lounge access.and I  haven't selected a preferred airline yet.

In what way are they partnered with AA?

That's dead for 3 years, and that wasn't much of a partnership. Amex and Delta are much more involved.

I was going to downgrade and re-upgrade my BP to get another full year. But I just spoke with a manager who said all the accounts opened in that time-frame (10/1/16-5/31/17) have been grandfathered in for one year - until 5/31/18 and it has nothing to with account opening date. He read to me the exact working of note on my account re the grandfathering and the note does not qualify the year as being "from card opening date". The manager thought it was clear the year meant from now, from when the "grandfathering" was done, which is May '17.

That would be awesome! I wonder if this is a case of DROPR, or maybe specific to you?

Indeed.

It sounded like it applied to all cards, but of course DROPR is always a concern, though in this case he was higher up than a typical phone rep and he sounded pretty confident in his interpretation of the grandfathering policy.

Interesting. The email and letter I received, specifically said " but for you, this change does not go into effect until one year from the date your Business Platinum Card was issued." Unless something changed?

Too late to downgrade (and if so, to what, Green or Gold ?)  and upgrade (same day)?
