Hi,
yep i did, just recently.
the hotel is a very nice hotel, rooms are nice comfortable and clean, some rooms (studio/suite) even has full kitchen, they in middle of redoing the lobby (part of it is done, job well done), stunning views outside of hotel, beautiful lake in back, the location is great a lot of attractions next to hotel so do they have a nice park which is great for kids, no need to drive around they have a lot within the area of the hotel, the chairlift up to the peak of VT is also there.

FYI. if you planing your stay during the weekend they will prob. have a wedding there, or even 2.
just make sure to request a room with balcony & facing the lake.
Enjoy!

Has anyone stayed at the Equinox recently?
I have seen some reviews that the rooms are getting a bit run down and service is non-existent.

How about activities around that area in the winter, is it worth driving from Brooklyn to there for 2 days?

TIA!

Considering going to Vermont in August, but all the places that I've found don't have AC. Is that something I should be concerned about, or there is no need for AC?

I've never stayed there but I've been up there a lot and during the day you're definitely going to want AC - at night it might be ok

Yes if fact when i spoke to them they said that they can't allow outsiders to daven with them. they said a different program (vermont menucha) used to let and they got closed down for it.
