What's the deal with bringing raw meat into israel? I've heard some people didn't have issues and some had it confiscated.

What did you bring into Ireland? Looks like they only would let some fish. I would like to bring cold cuts and some frozen meals. What country were you coming from?

Want to bring back a few pomegranates from Israel to the USA. Any potential issues? Should I declare?

For sure declare, it seems like they should let go through, but you will for sure have put all your bags through the scanner right before you leave the customs area.

More information about Pomegranates: https://epermits.aphis.usda.gov/manual/index.cfm?action=cirReportP&PERMITTED_ID=9189

ISRAEL: Is it true that cooked (frozen) chicken is not allowed to be brought in to Israel? Also, are there any restrictions on raw fruit? Cooked vegetables?

I need a quick answer on this one, anyone. Thanks.

1) Herbal pills from health food store?
I tried looking online but only found this. Not sure if it is reliable and I can no find the source for what they are quoting.

Reminds me how when I went there with DW and one month old baby, we handed the passports and birth certificate (at that time kids could still travel to Mexico with only a birth certificate) to the border agent (at the airport. The agent looks at the birth certificate first, sees the name and asks me "Uste..... [my daughter's name]?"
I know it was two years ago, but just saw it now and made me laugh. :)

Thailand I should be fine with Pom meals from the US?

Seems like it's a problem only from the E.U. but just want to make sure.

Panama ? @Denverite

What’s the question?  Don’t bring anything to Panama as their kosher markets are better and cheaper than the US and even have shelf stable CY milk. :)

For the maldives which is my next step.
Yes I'm eating right now Chabad USM meals and they are delicious. I didn't bring pom meals but I'll take meals from Awafi in SIN, only problem is that they have a very small selection for travel meals.
