Yeah, but I hear he eats the food from Pesach programs :P
You must also know what his other occupation is. Hope no-one ever needs him there.  :P
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Sadly, my friend's bother passed away in FL while R' Miller was in Whistler. He was an immense help to them.

Yes.
We might need an explanation on that one. How is that job done without being on location?

I flew from JNB to Zambia with fresh raw meat, had no issues. Also had Mealmart shelf stable meals. No issues there either.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

once flew into israel w tons of frozen (partially repackaged) meat
suitcase was put thru x-ray/scanner by customs, and they let it all go thru w/o any comment
i still wonder if it was just a nice inspector or that the official policy is really lenient

I know MLE doesnt allow you to bring in alcohol...is there any restriction bringing alcohol into DXB/AUH?

Slightly off topic...anyone have experience bringing an e-cig into the UAE or Indonesia?

IIRC we brought alcohol into AUH, but I think it was in flasks. No issues with e-cig in UAE

I had trouble bringing Deli like Turkey and Salami into the United Kingdom / England. Not sure why though.
I was stopping over for a few hours so they let me.

Because it's illegal?

What are NZ's small differences from AU?
Can you bring any POM meals there?

IIRC the polices seemed the same to me, but in practice AU looked at all our Meal Mart meals and let them in. NZ took away all our chicken dishes but let us keep the ones with meat.

If they have problems with meal mart chicken meals in NZ I doubt you will get POM meals in. For that matter I think you will have trouble getting POM meals in to either NZ or AU.

One thing I would add to the Wiki, Japan's polices on food seemed pretty strict, basically no meat at all. Given their rules, their reputation for being strict about all laws, and the reputation of their prisons, I didn't actually test bringing food in, but I would advise caution.
