$300 per item, 1K per card per year. So if you have an SPG card and a PRG card you'll only have 2k of total RP coverage, regardless of how many AUs you have on each card.

If you are unsure if an item qualifies for RP, then instead of asking for opinions here (slightly better than asking medical advice on facebook mind you), PUTPAC and ask the RP reps. You don't need to give your name or card info, just say you have an item or you will be buying an item and the store has a crappy return policy and want to make sure if there is a problem you can return it.

Yes. They're insisting now on you calling the company to ensure they won't take the return even when the return policy clearly states returns won't be accepted

ime no. you would need to wait till the company no longer accepts the return and then file a claim (within the 90 days of course)

Great because the RP took over 30 days and it's now Feb 1st. Asked if it was possible to open a new claim and the guy on the phone without hesitation accused me of fraud and said no. Argued for one more minute about how I'm not a crook until I realized those guys literally doesn't give a shit and I said thanks and hung up.

Jesus, the claim adjustor department must have a ton of job security for them to act like this.

Anyways I just went over the terms and nowhere did it say the claim limit or anything relating to it.

I made a claim recently and had a similar situation. Diff was that when I asked the claim rep something specific to the claim she said "X" and when it was denied they said they never said "X".

I called them out on it, they went back, "reviewed the recorded call" and denied my claim again. At that point, I was past the point of holiday return window as well. Very frustrating. You need to remember that these people are not in CS like the people you speak to when you call the number on the back of your card.
