$300 per item, 1K per card per year. So if you have an SPG card and a PRG card you'll only have 2k of total RP coverage, regardless of how many AUs you have on each card.

If you are unsure if an item qualifies for RP, then instead of asking for opinions here (slightly better than asking medical advice on facebook mind you), PUTPAC and ask the RP reps. You don't need to give your name or card info, just say you have an item or you will be buying an item and the store has a crappy return policy and want to make sure if there is a problem you can return it.

Did the website state this or they called to inquire? Was always curious because I've never had a problem if submitting an Amazon purchase that went past 30 days (Amazon's official policy), but I'd be willing to bet Amazon would do something and at least give Amazon credit if I tried at 35 or 40 or 45 days, up to a reasonable point.

So you could still have returned it within 90 days and that policy was stated on the receipt? I dont think you have a case

Yes, but only for store credit and not full refund. I don't want store credit.

So I guess my question was if I can only return for store credit and not refund am I covered? And you answer is no.

I put in a claim for purchase protection and sent in the docs numerous times. Amex then sent me an email asking to meet a rep from G4S whom will do an investigation. The rep called me and asked me when to meet, telling me all I will need is ID and the item and receipts (from the repair). Any reason for me not to do this? I read upthread someone said to stay away was wondering why.

A security company. They are hired by amex to research fraud and the like.
