T&C's say everything has to be paid for with the card. Idk how they would view using MR as payment, worth a shot to file I'd say.

I'm pretty sure my return protection was accepted even though I used 1 MR also

i'm not sure what your T&C says but mine clearly say "For your item to be eligible for coverage, you must have purchased any portion of the item's price with your Card within 90 days.

I payed $40 with cc, $20 with kohls cash, said that the item costed $60, was refunded the next day the full amount. luv you amex! (well.....not really was just F/R'd)

I mixed up between ''return'' protection, which you need to charge the full amount on the card, and "purchase" protection, which is covered if any portion of the items price was put on the card

Simple if you used the card for the item damaged then yes your covered if not then your out of luck.

Have these started taking longer to approve? Haven't done one in 1/2 year or so, but this one is almost 2 weeks, and the couple I did over the last year always took less than a week once documentation was sent.
