$300 per item, 1K per card per year. So if you have an SPG card and a PRG card you'll only have 2k of total RP coverage, regardless of how many AUs you have on each card.

If you are unsure if an item qualifies for RP, then instead of asking for opinions here (slightly better than asking medical advice on facebook mind you), PUTPAC and ask the RP reps. You don't need to give your name or card info, just say you have an item or you will be buying an item and the store has a crappy return policy and want to make sure if there is a problem you can return it.

so is it worth it to on purpose by from a seller thet does not accept returns bec amex will return protection is easier for me then pacageing it back up and sending back...

Not that I am encouraging this sort of behavior, but how would AMEX know if this was the motivation to buy from that particular seller. I highly doubt they would even check to see if it was available for a lower price on the same website.

Funny how the $95 card will still have this benefit, while the $250 PRG will be loosing the benefits, that's one card that needs more benefits. Your paying $250 for what?

I'm actually curious with most items when you actually try to return the product after 30 days do they tell you sorry we can't take it back or do they make one-time exception rules?

I tried to return PlayStation with games to amazon they Said it was past the return day so I filed a claim and I got paid for the play station but not the game and no returns to Amex required
