Any update on this ridiculousness?
They sent an email today with the same BS.
"We've made several attempts to verify that no returns have been made on the purchase made
on xxx on receipt # xxxx at store #xxxx. Please submit conformation from the
vendor that no returns or credits have been received/given."
This despite my sending them credit card statements showing no return credit.
I happened to be by the store so stopped in to see if I could get something from the store to show no return was made.
They tried, with manager involved, but they couldn't even bring up the purchase because it is past their return window. So they couldn't provide anything further showing that there was no return.
The manager also confirmed they only do return to Credit card, no store credit or cash on return, etc.
