$300 per item, 1K per card per year. So if you have an SPG card and a PRG card you'll only have 2k of total RP coverage, regardless of how many AUs you have on each card.

If you are unsure if an item qualifies for RP, then instead of asking for opinions here (slightly better than asking medical advice on facebook mind you), PUTPAC and ask the RP reps. You don't need to give your name or card info, just say you have an item or you will be buying an item and the store has a crappy return policy and want to make sure if there is a problem you can return it.

That makes two of us. Has anyone out there submitted a claim over the past ten days and had the documents request e-mail come through in a timely manner? I'm wondering if there was some kind of glitch in the AmEx claims system around the 20th-21st of October?

Thanks for sharing this. You gave me hope that I'd be receiving my documents by e-mail soon, but then I found my claims documents in the mail tonight. So some of you who aren't receiving an e-mail with them over the past week or two will likely be getting them in the mail, too. No unusual requests (like photos or phone calls), just for the receipt and for me to fill out the forms. Hopefully they've resolved their (repeated) systems issue and it'll get approved quickly.

Yes, my e-mail address is correct. I think this is the same as a month or two back when several people reported them also having system issues, so they mailed out the forms back then, too. It's the exact same form they'd e-mail, so it just adds the extra step of having to scan four pages before being able to upload it.

Never seen this happen before. What I've seen numerous times over the past few years is that when I go to the Claims homepage, it'll tell me that I don't have any claims (whether open or closed), and I'll have to refresh the page sometimes five or six times before it'll finally come up showing my claims. I kind of suspect that the problem you're having is just one of their many system issues over the past two months, which includes them taking two weeks to e-mail us the claims documents, or, in my case (and a few others two months ago), them actually mailing them to us instead of e-mail.

On another note, I just uploaded the claims documents (which they had sent me by postal mail) 12 hours ago, and my claim is already showing "closed", so it looks like despite all the other delays, they seem to be approving the claims rather quickly once you send them what they've request. (The credit hasn't posted yet, nor have I received the approval e-mail, but that all usually happens within 24 hours of the claim showing "closed" on the claims homepage.)

I have the same thing happening to me. Have to call and file a claim unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing. Please do let us know how this turns out! I once had a claim approved that I submitted more than 90 days after purchase, and I only attempted that after reading here that others had had success doing the same thing. It'll be interesting to find out if this is just a fluke, or if they're getting stricter with their policies now!

I submitted a claim and have received response back asking for pictures, etc.
They didn't ask about payment method.
I don't have final resolution as of yet.
