Probably. Is it store credits for 90 days or longer? I had a gymboree claim denied for that. I got some back because after 60 days it's lowest selling price, even with a receipt, so amex gave me the difference.

What's usual wait time on these currently? Mine is now over 30 days since backup sent in with no response from Amex.

1-2 days. Bit that's when they don't ask for docs.

Got 4 shirts for a little over $100 - not bad, but not worth the price. Want to use RP - should I return all 4, or return 3, for under $100, for a better chance of getting to keep the shirts?

If I bought a iphone on eBay, any experience if Amex plat covers? (Or if can use if got lost bec its ebay not a regular store does it make a difference?)

If it was new it's definitely covered. I think someone said they got covered on used but I'm not sure.

When do they not ask for docs? All my claims they've asked for extensive documentation...

As far as I can tell, recently they started asking for documentation for most claims even under $100, except for maybe the first claim in the calendar year.

I had my 2nd claim of the year and it just closed with a credit, about 35 days after I sent in documentation. They usually call about a month after to ask for some info on the item (is it new, why are you returning it, more info about the item, etc). I did not have to send the item back, and the credit posted within a day of when they called.

Friend had the same experience with his 2nd claim of the year.

Just tried to return a kapota (frok). Was declined because policy excludes formal wear. What's up with that? All suits are excluded??
