Very clean. Everyone is different, but i've gone through a bunch of norelcos, this one is in a league of it's own.

I'm using a panasonic now and it always misses hairs. Also, my face still looks like it has a 5 o'clock shadow when i'm done

Thanks guys
I ended up going with the Braun series 7 760 cc-4
Clean smooth shave and my face feels great (unlike how it was with my norelco)

How often do you need to replace the head on the Braun series 7. I feel that it's taking me much longer to shave these days.

Every 6 months or so.

For real?
Yes. IIRC the user manual recommends likewise.

I just checked and I was mistaken. Braun recommends replacing every 18 months.
Of course, this really depends on how often you use the shaver and how long you use it each time.

I know that they recommend 18 months, I was asking what are people's experience.

I bought the braun 740 from costco and it doesn't come with the cleaning base. Is it worth spending a little more on a model that does come with one?

Yes.

I love the cleaning station.

Who is this approved (and assured) by? I'm guessing Reb Dovid Feinstien holds its assur, (he only really likes Norelco with L&C removed), and is approved by Rav Heineman, who else on either side?

most of them are fine, you just need to manually pluck out the lift n cut blades!

Thanks, man! My shaver just died after Pesach and I needed a new one. Perfect timing!

Most shavers have so don't know what it means not to have unless you buy a kosher one! They usually say when there's a lift lift cut in it, and if it does its extremely easy to take out, you take a plyer and gently pull out the small piece of metal which touches the real blade! It's a small piece connected to all of the blades ,so if you only see one blade of the same type going around the shaver you know there's no lift and cut! Ps - don't rip out the real blade, that's a hard metal which is the real blade and the lift and cut is a soft sheet of metal which comes out with a tug or pull of a plyer!

Some don't have L&C.  I think it doesn't unless it says it does.  Some newer models don't have L&C.

I would like to know if a Braun Series 7 790cc4 shaver is kosher. Who do I call? There is a specific rav in Lakewood who's know for paskening on shavers I think... Does anyone know a rav that allows this shaver? TIA!
If you are trying to get my attention/assistance and I'm not responding, please feel free to PM me. :)
