lost my shaver and now i need to buy a new one.

any recommendations for something that is kosher straight out of the box. dont need attached trimmer as i use a peanut for that.

I believe someone posted a letter from R' Moshe Heinerman that there is no problem whatsoever with the foil head shavers. I tried looking for it. Couldn't find it. If someone finds it. Post it here please.

I'm sure nothing. He asked for a recommendation, and I have the 9 for the past two years, and it does a great job, easy and quick. It's also newer that the 7. (Although newer isn't necessarily better).

It can be cheaper, doesn't mean it's better. Or even similar. 
You used both 7 & 9? Also what prices are you seeing that it's 63% cheaper.

Doing research I concluded 7 wins for 129 vs 9 for 349. 7 is amazing. Old 7 (no flex) wins 9

  I got mine from Costco 2 years ago, for $150,  maybe a drop more, but think it was that price. Nowhere close to $349. Not even half.

I never used the 7, but from what I heard, 9 is better.

Yes, it was on sale I believe.   They go on sale every so often over there.

So that’s why I’d go with the 7 if you lost it. Current/Standard pricing isn’t justified.

Braun 9 goes on sale at Costco for about $150-175 range every few weeks. Definitely a better buy over the 7.

Good to know thanks. My point is the same. It’s Important to mention that when recommending a $350 item that’s not worth 200+ more.

299? Same point. When recommending something that’s worth it only at the sale price, it’s misleading and bad advice to leave it out. Unless you actually think it’s worth the 175-200+ more. That doesn’t seem to be your point though.

Ok. I hear you. Next time I shall put the price I paid plus the store.
However I still don't believe that it's averaged at 300 when Costco has it for like 175 quite often... Don't really care to search for avg pricing. But Amazon isn't always proof of best price... On certain items their prices are extremely high.
But +1 to you, you are correct. 👍

Agree, but all other stores as well are that range
