For those who shave, is every lift and cut OK, after you remove the lifters?

They discontinued a lift and cut line, and replaced it with another option that R' Dovid Feinstien recommends.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Didn't they discontinue the 7300 line and something else? They still make lift and cuts, just stopped one line, and started making something that's good out of the box, I think.

Anyone have a Braun series 5 that looks like this? Is the middle section like a foil or like a lift and cut?

either side of the middle section is a much bigger issue. but it's a lift and cut technology http://www.braun.com/us/male-grooming/series-shavers/series-5.html

The two sides are foil,  aren't they? This was given to me,  I didn't buy it

yes, they're foil. Braun foil (at least when I still shaved) was considered to be problematic by almost everybody since it is sharp enough to cut on its own, without the blade underneath, thus not having the required scissor like motion, and more a razor like motion. this is the potential issue with lift and cut as well; the 'lift' is pulling the hair through the screen, where it is being cut by the blade, possibly without the screen acting as the other part of the scissor. With the foil it was a much higher chance of that happening since it was on the outside.
I've been out of the parsha for a while so I might be totally outdated, going for the caveman look now.
