no cuz lift and cut lifts up the hair from the root, cutting too close acc to some poskim, braun just picks up the hair thats flat and straightens it making it easier to cut.

I know it's the annoying question but: Is the arc4 generally accepted as a kosher option?

Looks really good - it's kinda funny because I look for reviews that say it shaves really well but then when I find it I assume it can't be kosher. (review: "For the first time I can say the shave is as close as the non-electric options").

that's an LOR question for each person, but i asked mine and his principal for foil shavers is that as long as you don't push to close to your skin (signified by irritation/redness on your face) so that the razor nips skin, you are ok. so i try to never push to close and just go with it. shave is pretty good even without pushing.

i'm no rav, but the "ultra-thin vibrating outer foil" sounds like it may be an issue with it acting to cut on its own (instead of the inner blade cutting haris kept in place by the foil, the foil acting as a razor and cutting on its own).
