Is there a smart switch that has no dimmer on switch but you could dim on app and set timers with dim settings?
Thought that kasa has it but was wrong

Why wouldn't you want it on the switch?

I just pulled the trigger on this one, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ecovacs-robotics-deebot-ozmo-t8-robot-vacumm-mop-with-auto-empty-station-grey/6423195.p?skuId=6423195

After $25 back with amex, it's only $25 more then I wanted to spend and it's on an incredible sale.
and how is it going?

Also looking for a simple "away mode" so I don't have to disable every light with every on time

I used to use IFTTT to get a text when my thermostat was changed. Any free service that can do this now?

Did you try to have it post in a GroupMe group when the thermostat changes?

No, but with with the children at home, I didn't really feel like locking it, but I did need to know when someone set it to 62 or 85!

It depends on your definition of easy, but there's a Home Assistant addon called Jewish Calendar.
The addon has a sensor for 'issur_melacha_in_effect' that could be used as a condition.

Would anyone recommend the Ecobee Premium? Mostly concerned about shabbos.

A few of our “smart home” items stopped being accessible over Wifi -
The ring doorbell was first a while back and it’s now allowing me to reconfigure it. I get stuck when it tries to “find” the “ring Wifi” on my phone as it is not showing on my phones Wifi list…

now my ecobee, garage door opener (myQ), and also having a hard time connecting an Arlo camera.
Any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it?
Is it something with optimum?
(Actually thinking now the recent ones can be because I git a gentech filter recently? But ring has been an issue for a while and the Arlo camera they specifically “allowed” the app to open in NY phone - which I did have an issue with in the beginning).

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I now have a bunch of dead apps/items lying are around

Filters can be a pain.
Tried hard resetting the ring doorbell?

In my opinion, if you disable the 'follow me' feature (which would focus on the temperature of only the occupied room), they you may as well get a dumb thermostat.
I have a 3lite. Dont see any benefit from it.

1. Better schedule options and customization.
2. Remote control.
3. Sensors to balance out heat.

That's what I use it for.

Dont ask me why, but my kida are always colder on friday night. There is no way to set it that on friday evenings the heat should be higher. You only get three settings. Home, sleep and away. Thanks to you I see now that you can add comfort settings. Was this always the case?

2. Remote control.
OK

3. Sensors to balance out heat.
True, but most people know that to keep the house comfortable, they need to set it x degrees warmer or colder.

Multiple sensors can help especially on friday night when the flames and kitchen heat can effect the temps
