New Chase Freedom Rise - Starter Card
« on: June 13, 2023, 10:27:30 PM »
New starter card from Chase.
Freedom Rise

Anyone know if it's actually easier to get approved with this card over their other cards?

Gets 1.5 which is not bad for a starter card.

Also, they seem to confirm that "Having a Chase checking account with a balance of at least $250 will increase your chances of getting approved". Not sure if that was just an assumption till now...? Or if anyone knew that as a fact...

It looks like they got rid of the freedom student card and replaced it with this one instead.

Regarding the checking account balance...Pretty sure it didn't say that anywhere before.
