Ok so the issue is PP key. You are in a pickle. The old way was delete the key and make a new one would solve it most of the time. The problem now is if you delete the key most of the time you can't get it back.

Different merchants. I guess I could try switching it to something else, then switching back.

Anyone use Amex send account on paypal?
There are legit no fees??  No 3ish% swipe fee, no cash advance, interest etc so long you paying by regular due date following month?

But you don't earn rewards, and doesn't count as spend; so it has minimal use.

+1 That's me, don't like bank connected, and also why use cash, if I can get free loan for a month+...

*re them making money, they ask for access for contacts, which obviously can help paying folks... but I feel like there's probably a vacuum up data aspect as well that's worth it to them... &/or makes amex more attractive to younger gen as only one with no fees... smart move on their part

So I bought from someone on some item and he wanted me to send him the money through Zella, at the end we did on PayPal with the friends and family option, cuz I didn't want to pay him the fees. Turns out he sent me fake products... Took me few days to realize it cuz it's professionally replicated...
Now I'm going back to him ask my money back, and of course he's gone... Phone isn't working anymore and isn't responding to emails.
I tried calling PayPal they said due to the fact you sent it as friends and family there's no buyers protection, and we can't help you. Same response I also got from chase..
So does anyone ever had something like it? Did you end up seeing back your money? What else can I try to do. Thanks for all responses..

If you sent money as a friend using your credit card that would be the only way to get your money back. If you used your bank account then just move on..

If you feel like it you can file an IC3 claim here, but don't expect any thing to come from it..

Update 3/30/22: Seems like this option is now available at most places where Paypal is accepted. I’m seeing this work now on Walmart, Target, and many more. Quite a useful new option for draining prepaid cards, finishing spend requirements, etc. (Note: I checked the tax payments site and they don’t allow splitting.)

if the seller sells on Alibaba there is an option of filing a complaint for offline / 3rd party
