My question is if it is against Paypal's terms. People ask if they can pay me with PayPal. I don't wanna eat the fee, and I don't wanna tell them to cover the fee, but I don't know if I feel comfortable asking them to use the friends and family option if it's against Paypal's terms.
If you're being paid for a service why the need to go through PayPal?
The reason why one would select goods and services would it be to get the purchase protection.
If you enjoy paying fees go for it.
There's no one forcing you to use goods and services while you can use friends and family no problem.
Don't see why it would be the terms & conditions that you have to use Goods for sale in paying for a service and if you decide to use friends and family and take the risk you're not allowed to?
Meaning you're not tied down to PayPal, you can use any service out there if you're just looking to send cash.
With that being said look at it as if it's a friends-and-family payment.
You can use zelle to send and receive payments for free.
