Is the anova wifi worth the extra money than the anova Bluetooth?
I know it sounds great to be able to control it from afar, but how many actually use that feature?

Personally I don't think so. I have the cheaper version and find it simpler to just control it on the actual unit (which is why I would never want a joule)

Its a nice feature but kind if useless. The whole concept of the sous vide is set and forget, no need to control the temp from a distance.

Well, if you want it done at a certain time, but don't want it cooking too long, you can start it while at work and it will be done when you get home.

I'm not talking from experience, just a thought. Depending how long the time frame is, it can work.

I actually wouldn't want my steak to 'warm up'. I either put it directly into the hot grill pan/oven or into the temp I set the sous vide...

Any particular reason? It should heat fast enough to eliminate concerns of bacterial growth.
