Regain Space In Your Gmail Inbox By Deleting Unwanted Attachments!

My Gmail was overloaded i spent hours trying to find a solution for precisely this "delete unwanted attachments but retain the messages"
The tech blogs all say Thunderbird or imapsize, they both kept on crashing on me and then I discovered SlimBox !

This is such an awesome utility and does the job!
It also offers an option to save the attachments locally

Give it a try the beta version is currently free, and remember to buy the devs a coffee if you find it useful!

You could pay $1 a month, and get 100 GB.

There's a way to search for emails with large attachments. You can delete those. See gmail thread.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

This one allows you to keep the email and delete just the attachment. that's the whole point

For some people this would be better like you explained, but for me I strongly prefer to solve the problem without  "another" program. If 50 emails each with 20mg attachments of stupid pictures you don't need, you can free up a gig.
