Don't knock it until you try it
Please don’t fall for bad TPG reporting. Higher flight prices have always been around 1c. They are comparing a cheap mint flight vs current expensive flights. Search expensive economy flights as well and you will see 1cpp there as well. Over a certain $ threshold the value goes down. (I don’t know this number exactly but I am sure with some work it could be figured out). Find a cheap mint flight and you will see 1.4 again
TPG horrible reporting again. although I actually can understand the ease of making this mistake it goes to show a lack of real knowledge before posting.Got @doctorofcredit to fall for it as well. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/much-jetblue-points-worth/my comment
I waited all day for someone else to bother fighting. no one even cares anymore
Meh, I make sure any of my friends who know less than me, don't read TPG. I care, but not much we can do. I only send links from decent blogs even if tpg is the first link I see.
I could show you dozens of examples where that's false, but that's the besides the point. I do this for a living and don't claim that I have no biases.
Todays post about Blue Business would be contrary to what you said. A 10k point sign up is available thru referral and possibly incognito (although you do mention "public offer" - however thats the same as TPG writing pushing the AA card). Being that this card is being pushed hard on DDMS, I feel like that small piece of information should be mentioned.

Find a cheap mint flight and you will see 1.4¢ again. Can you share a route where you see this pricing of 1.4¢ per point. I tried several different routes and couldn't find anything. I'm always happy to be proven wrong and post a retraction/correction.
You misread what I wrote. I said I wrote about cards many times that didn't pay a commission.
Of course. Affiliates are expected to market their specified offer channels on cards that they have contracted with.
