i contacted united costumer service about a flight last month which i checked in online the night before.
i came late to gate i dont know how late but the agent let me scan my boarding pass.then he said sorry u cant get on flight and directed me to the desk agent .the desk agent checked out my boarding pass and said when i checked in online the night befor the system did a "force check in" and therfor i was not expected to be on this flight my seat was already taken and she put me in the next flight three hrs later. then she told the other gate agent to close gate and mark me absent .then another couple ppl came and scanned ther ticket and wer allowed on flight . i had no strength to ask for compensation then. i mean its seemed to me that united erred and i should be compensated . but this week wen united finally answered my email we argued back and forth they said they have record of me in united lounge which is true but i could still have made it to gate before closing.then they said ther gate agents noted that i missed flight wich is only true for ther notes bec i heard the gate agent lie infront of my face and make a false note. basic i cant prove this they said they have no security footage or such.
can anyone help me either way is there something i missing out i dont understad
