Someone up thread said that one can't use a chip card with Samsung pay, is that still the case ?

All the cards that I used have chips
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

They were referring to stores that force you to use the chip if your card has one. For example Walmart.

I don't know if its just me, but I noticed when I try adding more Amex then 5 Amex cards it doesn't work, once I remove a card (after using the offer) I am able to add a new one.

It seems that the limit of Amex cards is 5, but they won't allow me to add more then 3 SPG at once as well.

I used it last night at Shoprite where they required the person before me to use the chip in order to pay with no issues.

anyone figured out how to add more then 5 amex at a time? also if doing 5 and then deleting and adding more, is there a daily limit?

There is a daily limit, I don't remember the exact number but after 10 or 15 cards in 24 hours, they start asking for a confirmation code, and then after that Samsung locks you out for a day or so.

I don't remember the exact numbers but I do remember having that issue once.

On Samsung's site it says the limit is 10 cards so I guess that means per 24 hours

I'm new to Samsung pay, so far i only have problems.

I added 4 amex cards and it wouldn't let me add a 5th one, as per amex cs the limit is 5, they couldn't figure out why I couldn't add the 5th one, I called Samsung pay and amex back and forth and nothing.

After I decided that I'll just delete a card and add another one I have a new problem.

I tried using the cards and I got a declined message I thought it was a amex problem but after Trying my chase card I had the same problem, I called several times amex and several times Samsung pay, no one could figure out what could be the problem, I did already clear data and clear cache it didn't help, I was in the same store a day before and It worked perfectly fine.

Does anyone have or had a similar problem? Is it a problem with my phone? A problem with amex? A problem with Samsung pay? Or a problem with the store?

If anyone can help me ASAP because the amex offer is running out.  :o

Thanks!

I want to use the amex offer with 12 cards. Any way to still do this if I don't have a Samsung phone to bring to a store? Can I remotely control someone's Samsung phone and buy stuff online?

Highly doubt it.
In the end, that's precisely what I did. I used TeamViewer. Too bad I waited for the last day, so I was only able to add five cards.
