They tried to tanz by two chasunahs and operate a secular chartered institution affiliated with a religious school so they weren’t afforded the religious exemption all yeshivos have to non discrimination laws. They made their own bed….

What should they do? Obviously any yeshiva would close down rather than comply. YU on the other hand….

As was said over recently in te name of Rav Elchonon when he visited America: Torah Vodaas is a koshere place with a treifine name. Yeshivas Rabeinu Yitzchak Elchanan is a trefine place with a koshere name.

There certainly is a place in Orthodox Judaism for משכב זכר adherents. It was גבוה שתי קומות. For the women, not so much.

- Yeshiva university calla on the student liason office to terminate the Hareini program which has been operating as a pride club in violation of the settlement reached. Earlier this month there appeared to be an agreement that students will be implementing a club, to be known as Hareni, that will seek to support LGBTQ students and their allies and will operate in accordance with the approved guidelines of Yeshiva University’s senior rabbis. The club will be run like other clubs on campus, all in the spirit of a collaborative and mutually supportive campus culture.” it now seems that was not the case.
