Topic Wiki

If your video is not embedding, see if your link starts with "http:" - if it does, change it to "https:" and it will work.

If a video isn't embedded you should assume it may be inappropriate for some people.

How do I embed a Youtube video?
Simply post the YouTube URL.
Alternately (actually, this may no longer work):
Click the "youtube" button on the second row on the furthermost left side.
You will now have the words: in your editor.
Now, copy and paste the youtube video id (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0&x=y) in between the middle brackets in order for it to look like this:

and leave out this part of the link: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

Or you can paste the YouTube link, highlight it, and then click on the "YouTube" button. This will encase the link in the youtube tags,
Now just click "post" and you're done!

How can I search if a video has been posted here before?
This is not foolproof, but it's a good start.
Search for the youtube ID (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0)

Thought the same, but then I went back, what he really said was (3:30), there are different types of them just like there are different cars, some are under gas power, some under electric power.

Not dumb, but coy. As the lawyer said, the definition of photocopy was at issue in the case. I thought the deponent did a fantastic job.
If you don't care why would you comment?

It's not a 'stira'. (Welcome to Chassidus and elevating the world by using its tools for good purposes.)

That was a well-made powerful video message that I've always agreed with
and DDF is a powerful tool that's being run by an overall positive person/group of people who's goal is to help others.  Plain and simple.

yes, it's a universal Jewish concept, however there are many Jews who purposely do not have a cell phone or home internet or many other tech items due to an overbalanced take/overarching extension on what the man in the video was describing.

Right I was just wondering why you called that chassidus, especially considering the attitude you describe seems to exist more in the chassidic world....

Here, I was referring to the Chabad Chassidic style of living in open areas across the globe, (not only in personal, sheltered enclaves)
using modern technology to benefit others, to elevate the world, and to bring Moshiach

Perhaps your comment is referring to how people in the ultra-"Chassidic world" act vs. Chabad's style of utilizing every last spark towards kedusha, whether in Idaho, Zhitomer, St. Thomas, La Jolla, etc... and help others with Torah, Tefillin, reaching their neshama, and bringing the geula.
