In the argument over teaching them about death at least I understood the guys who said not to but marriage?

I know it was discussed before, but it was kind of sad when my son came home and told me that he (Besuel) put soap in Eliezers soup, but the malach switched it and he got a tummy ache. Why should they grow up with falsehoods. If they aren't ready then don't teach it at all. I don't get why they feel that every aspect of the parsha must be taught by hook or by crook to 4 year olds.

Kids don't understand the whole thing.

My 4yo said he "wants to marry a tzadeikes who will bring him cups of water". My 3yo daughter was crying, " I don't wanna marry a BOY"!

of course they would participate in family a family wedding.
 I'm just saying that my kid (3 yo) totally doesn't understand the whole concept. I don't see any value in confusing them with marriage at that age if not necessary..

My issue is which poor kid has to be the girl. He's probably going to be bullied for the rest of the year

I must have grown up differently, when I was growing up weddings were a fun part of my childhood. Some of my earliest happy memories are from going to cousins' Chassunahs, having mock weddings in day-camp (and no the Kallah wasn't bullied, it was the most coveted position) and playing "Chassunah" with my siblings...
