It's a famous old video, and yes, many times he let it out in the direction of the ashkenazim. The media didn't have to edit something to get a clip of him going against ashkenazim.

I dont think it was meant to belittle ashkenazim as much as it was meant to point out that you have to be a normal human being who cares about others. Having offensive body odor because you hold a chumra (and thats what it is) is not mentchlich. Today everyone is an istenis. Dont be frum on other peoples cheshbon.

It is socially unacceptable to smell and give off odor. Any issur that this may be, and i dont know what issur it can be other than not following a minhag, is negated by the chillul hashem caused by not showering and giving off an odor.

Btw there is a famous saying attributed to Rav Wosner responding to the multitude of shaalos he was asked in the nine days "interesting that no mourner asks me these shaalos in the shiva....."

anyone that learns even a minimal amount of shulchan aruch knows that ונוהגין doesn't mean a חומרא.

He is clearly talking to sefardim and is  saying that a sefardi that takes on this  rem"a not to shower is a chamor.
He's not taking to Ashkenazim who pasken like the rem"a.

He clearly said someone who doesn't shower is a chamor. Not sure why you are claiming he only meant sfardim.
