Topic Wiki

If your video is not embedding, see if your link starts with "http:" - if it does, change it to "https:" and it will work.

If a video isn't embedded you should assume it may be inappropriate for some people.

How do I embed a Youtube video?
Simply post the YouTube URL.
Alternately (actually, this may no longer work):
Click the "youtube" button on the second row on the furthermost left side.
You will now have the words: in your editor.
Now, copy and paste the youtube video id (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0&x=y) in between the middle brackets in order for it to look like this:

and leave out this part of the link: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

Or you can paste the YouTube link, highlight it, and then click on the "YouTube" button. This will encase the link in the youtube tags,
Now just click "post" and you're done!

How can I search if a video has been posted here before?
This is not foolproof, but it's a good start.
Search for the youtube ID (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0)

this is not funny,  but so sad and disgusting:

https://www.facebook.com/yideoclips/videos/802080983261908/

So should every other school teach children how to throw eggs on Satmar cars? Zali or Aaroini? or is this Zali?!!!
I would have ran over that person running in front of the car

Any more info on what started this?

I have to admit when were kids in Yeshiva we had grudges against other chsidus and other sects but we didnt have teachers showing us how to throw eggs at others..

This is utterly puke!

Videos leaked from Satmar camps show kids protesting Israel Two recently circulated videos on social media showing campers partaking in mock anti-Israel demonstrations are providing the rest of the world with a glimpse into Satmar camps New York. In one video the children are seen striding down the street in the style of a demonstration, chanting: “Israeli government, shame on you!” and waving banners with an “X” over the Israeli flag and slogans such as “A Jew is not a Zionist.” In the second video, children are filmed throwing eggs at a moving black vehicle, while shouting “[Prime Minister Benjamin] Bibi Netanyahu, shame on you.” “This is very respectable,” a spokesman for the Satmar Hassidim in Israel told The Jerusalem Post. “They are showing them democratic values so when they grow up they can express themselves and demonstrate. We teach them freedom of speech.” He said the children are taught the values and principles that belong to their community, saying it is a “beautiful thing” that it is their right to protest a state and prime minister who, for instance, “forces their brothers to go to the army.” Not all in the community approved of the activities, however. “It’s a shame and disgrace to teach our children such violence and inappropriate behavior,” said Rabbi Menashe Fulop. “The previous Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, always taught his followers to do good deeds to each other, and even when he did organize protests it was in the most peaceful way possible.. The principals and teachers should be punished and denounced for this vicious act.” [JPOST]

Here's a video that was uploaded today of a frum guy doing street magic in Times Square. I think he's pretty good, what do you guys think?

ETA: Here's the direct YouTube link https://youtu.be/Xllj-4EKMhs if you want to like and/or subscribe. It would be pretty cool if he goes viral.

*Disclaimer: Yes, I know the guy, but he knows nothing about me posting this.*

How long is his hand in that paper bag twisting the rubiks cube before he hands the bag over to be shaken. Not polished enough.

I watched the video again closely, and I'm still not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing. Are you referring to 50 seconds into the video? Also I think the coolest trick is the one with the 2 dollar bill.

Yes, from .46/7-.52/3.

The trick is to take a fully solved cube, give it a few coordinated turns to make it look unsolved. Then when putting it into the bag reverse those turns.

Notice at .34 how there are 3 oranges in a row, 2 of this, 2 of that. By turning a solved cube just a few times you can make it look unsolved.

Ya when I watched it again I saw that it looked pretty close to being solved, so I was a little disappointed :P. I still think he did a pretty good job with the trick though, because I can't tell at all that he's turning the cube in the bag to solve it.

How about the 2 dollar trick, any idea how he did it?

typical trick often done with tearing a newspaper. He has a folded $2 bill in his hand already. Look closely you will see the strang way he holds onto the $ when showing it to the participant

He did a decent job.

The 2 dollar bill involved a folded small bill in the back corner of the $1 bills blocked by his hand. He folds the $1's up small, flips over to the 2, then opens the 2 while the $1 remains folded in the back corner of the 2.

Shes assuming theyre trying to do it in one generation.

However, if every woman has a dozen kids and then all their daughters have a dozen kids, it becomes that much more feasible.
