Topic Wiki

If your video is not embedding, see if your link starts with "http:" - if it does, change it to "https:" and it will work.

If a video isn't embedded you should assume it may be inappropriate for some people.

How do I embed a Youtube video?
Simply post the YouTube URL.
Alternately (actually, this may no longer work):
Click the "youtube" button on the second row on the furthermost left side.
You will now have the words: in your editor.
Now, copy and paste the youtube video id (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0&x=y) in between the middle brackets in order for it to look like this:

and leave out this part of the link: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

Or you can paste the YouTube link, highlight it, and then click on the "YouTube" button. This will encase the link in the youtube tags,
Now just click "post" and you're done!

How can I search if a video has been posted here before?
This is not foolproof, but it's a good start.
Search for the youtube ID (youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0)

please let me know which thread is appropriate, but I feel I definitely have to respond to this link. (which provides no sources to their Liberal rants) Please see this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_termination_of_pregnancy#Incidence

And specifically this quotation:

Reasons for not seeking earlier
United States
See also: Reasons for abortions
A study from 2013 found that most women seeking late abortions "fit at least one of five profiles: They were raising children alone, were depressed or using illicit substances, were in conflict with a male partner or experiencing domestic violence, had trouble deciding and then had access problems, or were young and nulliparous." The study data did not include any women who were having abortions "on grounds of fetal anomaly or life endangerment." The researchers concluded that "Bans on abortion after 20 weeks will disproportionately affect young women and women with limited financial resources."[19]

For an earlier study published in 1987, the Alan Guttmacher Institute collected questionnaires from 1,900 women in the United States who came to clinics to have abortions. Of the 1,900 questioned, 420 had been pregnant for 16 or more weeks. These 420 women were asked to choose among a list of reasons they had not obtained the abortions earlier in their pregnancies. The results were as follows:[20]

71% of women were unaware they were pregnant or misjudged gestation
48% of women found it hard to make arrangements for abortion
33% of women were afraid to tell their partner or parents
24% of women took longer to decide whether to have an abortion
8% of women had an abortion after a change in their relationship status
8% of women were initially pressured not to have abortion
6% of women chose to have an abortion because of a change in circumstances after becoming pregnant
6% of women were not properly educated on how timing affects abortion
5% of women were unaware that abortion was available to them
2% A fetal problem was diagnosed late in pregnancy
11% Other

None of those other reasons were legalized though, unless I'm missing something. People are talking about the late term part, but as Jews, we generally agree with this law on late term, but still disagree about early term - if there's a halachically acceptable reason for aborting, it doesn't matter when, and if not, no abortion is allowed.

Indeed, you are.

The standard in the law, " necessary for the mother’s life or health," was defined by the supreme Court as “all factors — physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman’s age — relevant to the wellbeing of the patient.”

They didn't really use it while driving. It looks great at first, with all the power of Google and the interface showing on the car's screen. But the app itself is trash, is just doesn't work.

Google's voice recognition was better. The app, not so much.

Apologies if you've seen this already, I just did now for the first time:

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I skimmed through the articles she posted as she went along. This was done very shoddily, especially the Apple part.
