yes, once root is released then wifi tether will be ported and custom roms will remove the tether flag.

technically they don't have to help you if you are rooted, chances are though that if you are rooted yet running stock rom then the tech won't even notice... and you can always unroot...

on the new samsungs (droid, galaxy S)if you root a big yellow alert triangle shows up when you turn on the phone(even if you unroot). there is also a counter that tells them how many times you flashed the phone. Of course all you need is www.amazon.com/dp/B0053H73JQ/?tag=cl03f-20 to make that go away.

Nexus LTE: .37" thick and 5.29 ounces with a 1,850 mAh battery.

Compared to my Centro at .73" thick and 4.2 oz.
