Just think about it- Walmart has a couch with 3 in stock in Texas, and that's it. Create a huge pickup discount of 99% off so it's priced at $5. Wait for Amazon to match and sell a couple hundred grand worth of couches at a price that's less than the cost of shipping. Would be fun to watch.
AP dead or Obi dead?
What if someone orders all three of those couches to be picked up in store in NY?

one thing I don't understand, all these ship to store orders were shipped using FedEx. Does it really save them by shipping to store?
They're Shipping to one location instead of multiple ones.
and....
They have a deal with FedEx
Fedex would likely charge them less.
If they have a deal with FedEx, those rates would work to any location. It's shipping pallets that makes it real cheap.
And how does anyone explain Amazon shipping 4 oversized boxes to my house? Do they not get charged based on dimensional weight? Label seems to say 25lbs. for a 2 or 3 lbs. item.http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=78323.msg1733139#msg1733139
Any way we can get that war started again?
