tell me about it... I was on the phone with citi for 90 minutes because I couldn't get my new cards linked to my online profile, being transferred from one paki to the next... something tells me that they have a max IQ there too (not sure if paki or citi).

Look at american expresses chart, they claim to have more than half from minority groups. But probably they place these people mostly at the email department etc. so the non-appetizing accent won't throw away customers.

i spent 1 hr with amex and she kept telling me she speaks English but yet she could not understand me not one word and she kept asking me to repeat my self and slow down and i kept asking her for a rep thats located in the usa and speaks english as a native language after a hr of this she finally got me some one wth my plat cost me $450  delta gold $125 and 2 spg at $65 a piece seriously for that kind of money cant i get some one that speaks english i am paying a american company cant they turn around and give the jobs to some one in the states

Yeah I really can't stand it and personally I find chase the worst. Once when I was talking to one she told me that according to a new policy with chase I can only call once a month for customer service and then they charge five dollars. :o Then she started giggling uncontrollably. I dont have time for these games  ::)

Yea it seems that way, If you browse through the amex threads, you'll see all the emails are signed by some indian or paki, not to say theyre bad people but amex definitely knows what theyre doing when they keep them in the email dept. afterall their writing skills are pretty much flawless.

As a side observation, it's interesting how these foreigners keep their original names which gives away that they're offshore, even when doing business with Americans and working for a company like AMEX. Their not ashamed of it and AMEX doesn't see it as a problem.

I know many Jewish a number of Jewish guys who work in CS for companies like B&H, and they use adopt an English sounding name just for the job. I think may of us here are familiar with that.
