Picked up the rocking chair in the Valley Stream Walmart. When I got there, the guy said it's still on a truck outside and went to retrieve it. Took him about half an hour. There were only two reps by the counter, and when he left to get it from the truck they were down to one who was working at a snails pace. The line was growing and people were getting frustrated. Oh well...

There will never be enough "savings" for me to drive to a Walmart and pickup an order. I'd almost rather go to the dentist than go to a Walmart.......

My one item is still showing as to be delivered to store on 5/15 but the tracking is "unavailable."

I called the call center and they told me to wait a few more days and if it is not in, they will honor the price on a different color (the original item is out of stock in the color that I ordered).

But I wonder if it is really just "on the truck" outside of the Valley Stream store and never got scanned because they are overwhelmed by the volume.

If they honor the price, they will probably also ship it to you direct which will save you the hassle of picking it up. I would just push them to honor it now and have it shipped out to you.

Went to pick up my rocker and Coleman beds from Monsey Wal-Mart. There must have been about 50 boxes of nursing rockers that couldn't fit into the pick up warehouse so they were sitting in the back of store, all with yiddishe names on it. When I showed the guy my email he gave a huge snort. Felt so embarrassed. Almost not worth it.

Very unprofessional of that idiot, but you can't expect much more from a Walmart employee. Either way, I'm not sure why you should feel humiliated over this. Walmart needs to staff the pickup counter better.
