United Voucher Help
« on: May 10, 2017, 01:19:36 AM »
Hi everyone. I have United Vouchers I received from canceled flights due to disruption from bad weather. Long story short, I bought separate one way tickets, and now have been given separate united vouchers in my name only. Is there way a loophole or way to combine these vouchers or maybe buy a ticket and then get full cash back somehow? I am looking to book flights and using the vouchers for one way tickets costs DOUBLE than when buying it round trip. If I buy it round trip, I will only be able to use ONE voucher, and sure... I can save the other one, but I don't plan on flying again soon after, especially with United.

Any advice will be appreciated!

If they're standard UA vouchers, then they can be booked for anyone even though they're issued in your name only. I don't think you can combine them (at least I personally don't know how), but they often can be sold/exchanged here on DDF for ~85%, more or less, depending on value, expiry, etc.
